The River
Teesta (Nepali:TisTa Khola) is said to be the lifeline of the Indian state of
Sikkim, flowing for almost the entire length of the state and monument out
verdant Himalayan pleasant and steamy river valleys.
The emerald green-coloured
river then forms the border between Sikkim and West Bengal before joining the
Brahmaputra as a stream in Bangladesh. 26°10'47.71"N/89° 3'17.29"E
